5 Years anniversary

QSL Card celebrating the 5th anniversary

Ladies and Gentlemen,

we want to celebrate our fifth year of our foundation in 2008 with this card. I've missed the December 26th 2012, so I will upload the QSL card for the anniversary on the new years eve.....

CML ■ VUE opens it's doors

Uh, that wasn't planed for real. CML ■ VUE is only available on VIMEO. We turn on the camera, when CML has just turned off the cameras.

Logo refresh

Update: We will modify the creditroll another time in Summer break 2012, so July 2012-October 2012....

Update 2: We will write here, when the new logo will be applied to our subsidairies.
Update 3: Videos will at least start to adopt the new logo in September 2012.
So this weekend I've spend some time to rebuild the channel's logo from scratch.

By time to time we will replace all logos on our channels.

(Example for the yesterday introduced News express).
This will be the final logo. As you may notice, the twitter service has been suspended until the relaunch of this service has been finished (until further notice)...

Changes on May 1st

CML announces that we will change the name of our twitter service.

CMLPipeline will be abandonned to avoid confusion with CNN Pipeline.

Rule will be postphoned

As you have read before on this blog I have to decided to postpone the new rule on content made on Canadian soil until Summer 2013. That means, we have footage from Europe, made in Germany and later made in Denmark.

New quota on videos.

As the main channel is called "CanadianMapleLeaf01", it should be only for Canadian content. This is my opinion. But as you noticed, we have only a few Canadian videos. We want to put an end to it. You can't fly a flag, when you have to improvise all the time.

I will implement a quota on annual videos. 75 % must be at least filmed on Canadian soil. That are 15 video. Five videos can be made elsewhere. This rule will be enacted after the fifth video has been made and uploaded, expected in summer. So this season will end after the fifth video. Due to the fuel crisis of 2012 we won't make it to Canada.
But this is not yet confirmed.

In the French channel, we will try to do a French video about Canada. As there are a few videos, we have decided that the next video must be made on Canadian soil.

In the Allophone channel, solely German and Danish videos will be posted. This channel along with the Korean channel are exempted from this new rule.

Changes 2012

Please note that we have added Korean as the fourth language. There are still no ideas for good videos, but I'll keep it warm.

Due to too much Frankfurt videos, our yearly journey to Frankfurt will be moved to the French section.

The French video of our Quebec videos has been canceled. Content-ID has some major flaws and I don't want to loose this account.

Depending on the situation, we will also do a Canadian travel video series or a travel video series in Paris, France.... (There will be no announcement where we are going to.)

I a few weeks, Some days in Berlin will be our first video for 2012 because sign off was made in 2011.

We won't switch to HD-1080 that quickly. We get good results with 720P.

I think I will do another Hochseilgarten Video ((2.1) and maybe a bungee [tramp] video).

I will also do videos on CMLHanguk, but there is a lack of topics, currently collecting some. And Hanguk will receive a new channel logo.

I also want to add Spanish to our channels, this is expected in fall '12. Sorry, I'm so sorry, we will add Danish first....
