About the Video: Flight/Vol/Flug 367 FRA-YYC

Summer time - Travel time in Germany. While some people head to Spain or other interesting destinations, we decided to uncover Canada's most western provinces: Alberta and British Columbia.

A nine hour long flight from the Frankfurt's Airport would bring us to Calgary. Pick up a rental car there and hit the road. Our flight departed end of July and crossed the ocean incredible fast. Air Transat served this flight. Air Transat's Airbus A330-200 are newer than the old A310s and feature seatback TV with a lot of films to choose from and games. My first and surely not the last journey with a subnotebook. Only minus: Air Transat does not offer power connectors. But this is also written on their website. Some devices are so power hungry, that power connector would help some people. Overall a very enjoyable flight, like all of my life. Air Transat does not offer any pillows and head phones for free. So you need your own pillows and head phones. Bag fees? Only on the first bag with 23 kg or less. Food was not so good than the Toronto flight three years ago. I'd love to have some cakes and other choices than "Chicken or Pasta".

About the Aircraft: A general trend is recognizable: Mood light was installed on all of Air Transat's fleet. The light changes it's colour every 30 seconds. I've seen it on the flight back to Germany a year ago. It may give you headache, but it's better than flying with an cargo plane. The C-GTSN is an older aircraft, it was in use by an Swiss operator and came back to Air Transat. The cabin seemed very long, because there are no kitchens to interrupt the "tunnel effect". Cabin was clean and the seat was ok. We owe a huge Thank you to the crew of  Flight 367 for your service.

Enjoy the show. That's all forks.
